All custody students (grades K-12) who are cleared to attend a mainstream school in the Alpine School District are assigned a mentor through Alpine Summit Programs. Mentors meet weekly with their students, usually in the student’s home, to help ensure the student’s academic success. This includes, but is not limited to:
- setting and monitoring goals
- checking up on grades, attendance, and behavior
- connecting students with resources available to them in their schools and communities
- career and life skills
- college readiness.
You should be contacted by your student’s mentor within their first week of enrolling to set up a time to meet.
